Job summary
A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is looking for an IT Manager to oversee network infrastructure and software applications. The successful candidate will lead the IT team, provide technical support, and ensure compliance with data regulations. Strong experience in IT network management and leadership is essential. - Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the network infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
- Manage network resources, including internet connectivity, Wi‑Fi networks, and internal communications systems.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect school data and IT assets.
2. IT Applications Management:
- Manage the selection, deployment, and maintenance of educational and administrative software applications.
- Ensure seamless integration of various IT applications to enhance productivity and user experience.
- Knowledge of systems such as Seesaw, iSAMS is a plus.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the website and online learning platforms.
3. Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Manage the IT department’s budget, ensuring cost‑effective use of resources.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative staff to understand and address their IT needs.
4. Technical Support and Training:
- Oversee the provision of technical support to staff, learners and parents, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues.
- Develop and deliver IT training programs to enhance the digital literacy of the community.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date IT helpdesk system for efficient issue tracking and resolution.
5. Compliance and Data Management:
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and policies.
- Oversee data management processes, including data storage, backup, and recovery.
6. Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and technology partners.
