QA Engineer [NDT | FAI | Manufacturing]

A leading aerospace manufacturing company in Bedok, Singapore is seeking a QA Lead to implement Quality Assurance activities. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, with strong knowledge of engineering standards. Responsibilities include developing inspection plans, ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. - Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, and tolerances.
- Skilled with inspection equipment and measurement tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of AS9100/AS9102/AS13100.

- Lead and implement QA activities to meet plant quality metrics and comply with the Quality Management System.
- Develop inspection plans for aerospace components and assemblies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define inspection criteria and methods.
- Select inspection tools and ensure measurement accuracy (CMM, optical, gauges).
- Maintain inspection reports and ensure documentation traceability.
- Conduct FAI, in-process and final inspections.
- Create CMM or gear programming for inspections.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, FAA and customer standards.
- Support audits and perform root cause analysis (8D, FMEA, Fishbone).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in inspection processes.
- Stay updated on inspection technologies and industry trends.
- Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T and tolerances.
- Skilled with inspection equipment and measurement tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of AS9100/AS9102/AS13100.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic CAD/drawing tools.
- Advantage: CMM knowledge, NDT exposure.
- Good communication skills.
