Job Description

• Lead a team of manufacturing and process engineers in developing, optimizing, and sustaining CNC machining and assembly processes.
• Drive cycle time reduction, tool life improvement, and process capability enhancement through data-driven methods.
• Oversee design, fabrication, and qualification of jigs, fixtures, cutting tools, and gauges to support precision manufacturing.
• Manage NPI builds — from DFM review, process validation, to full-scale production release.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production and quality issues using structured methodologies (8D, DMAIC, FMEA).
• Implement lean manufacturing, SS/6S, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and yield.
• Performing any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in precision manufacturing, including 3+ years in engineering leadership.
• Proven expertise in CNC machining processes - multi-axis programming, fixture/tooling design, and process optimization.
• Working knowledge of electro-mechanical / box-build assembly and integration processes.
• Proficient in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, Mastercam, NX, or equivalent) and GD&T principles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and project management skills with a hands-on, shop-floor approach.
• Demonstrated ability to perform in long working hours and adapt to fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
• Proven track record of strong leadership — able to motivate, guide, and develop high-performing engineering teams.
• Willing to work on-site at Changi North Crescent.
