This position is responsible for managing multiple projects from pre-sales to customer acceptance. This includes the supervision, direction, and motivation of the project team during planning, design, installation, start-up, commissioning, and handover phases.
Summary: The product being managed is industrial automation and control system projects — including software, hardware, communications, and integration of energy management, building automation, and IoT solutions — from initial sales through installation, commissioning, and handover.
The project manager is responsible for managing complex projects involving automation, building management, and industrial control systems, including:
- EMS (Energy Management Systems): Systems that monitor and control energy consumption in buildings or facilities.
- BMS (Building Management Systems): Integrated systems to manage building operations like HVAC, lighting, security, and fire systems.
- PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers): Hardware used to control industrial processes.
- SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition): Systems for remote monitoring and control of industrial processes.
- IoT (Internet of Things) projects: Connected devices and sensors for automation and data gathering.
- Industrial networks/protocols such as BACnet, Ethernet-IP, Modbus TCP/IP, and Modbus are mentioned, which are used to enable communication between devices in these systems.
- Additional experience in Solar PV and Battery Storage projects suggests involvement in renewable energy and storage integration projects.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience.
- 5+ Years of Experience in the EMS/BMS/PLC industry with an understanding of overall design will be preferred.
- 5+ Years of Experience in Project Management.
- Experience in industrial networks/protocols such as BACnet, Ethernet-IP, Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus etc will be preferred.
