Responsibilities
· Design and develop software for automated equipment
· Maintain, review and improve legacy codes
· Troubleshoot issues with existing installed systems
· Write user manuals to describe the functionality of the developed programs
· Liaise with customer on requirements and create specifications based on these requirements.
Requirements
· Degree/diploma in Electrical/Electronic engineering/Computer science or related discipline
· Preferably with 2 to 3 years relevant experience in automation industry
· Proficient in PC based programming (e.g. Visual C#)
· Familiar with PLC programming (e.g. Omron/Beckhoff)
· Familiar with various Motion Controllers/Actuators (e.g. IAI, AD Link)
· Familiar with vision systems (e.g. Cognex)
· Willing to learn and adapt a new technology quickly
· Ability to work independently and in a team with a can-do working attitude.
