Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the software development team in day-to-day operations.
- Participate actively in coding, primarily using PHP and SQL, and assist with debugging, testing, and code reviews.
- Develop and maintain scalable backend systems and databases.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional software solutions.
- Ensure that coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines are followed.
- Monitor performance of applications and recommend optimizations or enhancements.
- Support in project planning, task delegation, and timeline management.
- Prepare technical documentation and system specifications as needed.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies relevant to the business.
Technical Skills:
- Strong programming skills in PHP (Laravel or similar frameworks is a plus).
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience in API integration and RESTful services.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and team collaboration abilities.
