Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Systems Engineer to join our technology team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will hold a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification and possess hands‑on experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) administration. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems infrastructure, ensuring operational stability, and supporting business‑critical applications. The successful candidate must be flexible and prepared to work irregular hours, including evenings or weekends, to support project schedules and system maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft‑based servers, systems, and applications.

• Administer and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, including performance tuning, backup, and recovery.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system performance and availability issues.

• Manage system upgrades, patching, and security hardening.

• Participate in IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and minimal downtime.

• Provide technical support to internal teams, including incident response and root cause analysis.

• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) certification is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with MSSQL administration.

• Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and system security best practices.

• Experience in virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper‑V) is advantageous.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team‑oriented environment.

• Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

• Willingness to work irregular hours due to project or operational requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
