Job summary
A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking a Technical Manager (Electrical) to oversee and implement design strategies for projects. The role involves ensuring team collaboration, adherence to design standards, and managing documentation. Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, with additional design experience preferred. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $6,000 to $9,500.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field required.
- Professional Engineer registration preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement design strategies for projects.
- Ensure smooth collaboration of multi-disciplinary teams.
- Oversee design processes and advise on materials.

Education
Technical Manager (Electrical)
Working Day: 5.5Days | 8.30am to 5.30pm (Mon – Fri), 8.30am to 12.30pm (Sat)
Project Location: East, at Changi area
Salary: $6,000 - $9,500
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or any other relevant field with relevant design working experience
- Preferably a Professional Engineer registered with the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore
- Develop and implement successful design strategies and implement them for the project
- Ensuring that the multi-disciplinary teams building the project work together smoothly and that everything is delivered on time and within budget
- Overseeing the design process using technical expertise
- Advising on the selection of materials used and other aspects of procurement
- Working with clients to ensure that their expectations are met
- Reviewing designs with health and safety in mind
- Ensuring strict compliance of the design in accordance with contractual requirements and Singapore standards.
- Maintaining thorough documentation of the design process
- Managing processes relating to the project’s design to ensure that everything is delivered to schedule and budget
- Keeping up to date with changing building legislation and codes of practice relating to design
- Prepare and submit Single-Line Diagrams (SLD) and Drawings for FAT.
