Job description

We are looking for a hands‑on and detail‑oriented Compensation & Benefits Specialist who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, managing HR budgets, and supporting compensation and benefits (C&B) operations for a sizeable workforce.

He/she will play a key role in managing annual HR budgeting, increment, and bonus cycles and supporting compensation programs for around 500 employees. The position offers strong development potential with the opportunity to grow into a C&B Manager role over time.

Responsibilities
  • Support the full spectrum of compensation and benefits activities for Singapore and Malaysia, excluding payroll processing.
  • Ensure compensation practices comply with internal pay equity standards and local legislation.
  • Partner with HR and Finance teams to prepare the annual HR budget, salary review, and bonus cycle.
  • Maintain and analyse employee compensation data to ensure internal equity and competitiveness.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and participate in market surveys as needed.
  • Prepare reports and analytics for management reviews.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and support policy implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment regulations and company policies.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Partner with HRBPs to conduct pulse surveys and focus group discussions.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs to facilitate career growth progression in the organisation.
  • Any duties as assigned by head of department that is part of HR business partnering.
Requirement
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with exposure to C&B or HR operations in fast‑paced environments (e.g. MNCs or large local enterprises).
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills (pivot tables, formulas, charts, data validation).
  • Proven track record in managing HR budget exercises, salary increments, and bonus cycles.
  • Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with tight deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • High integrity and confidentiality when handling employee data.
