About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft 365 Specialist who can combine strategic thinking with strong hands‑on delivery. The ideal candidate is not only able to design and lead enterprise‑level Microsoft 365 solutions, but also to execute at a deep technical level when needed. You will drive migration and modern workplace projects, mentor junior engineers, and ensure our Microsoft 365 environment is secure, compliant, and optimised. This role is suited for someone with both the aptitude to architect and the determination to deliver — a leader who is also a strong doer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and own Microsoft 365 tenant‑to‑tenant migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption and high‑quality outcomes.
  • Design and implement Microsoft Purview strategies for governance, compliance, and information protection.
  • Architect and deploy Microsoft Intune solutions for device management, application delivery, and endpoint security.
  • Manage and optimise Exchange Online environments, including hybrid setups, migrations, and troubleshooting.
  • Administer and secure Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), including identity lifecycle, conditional access, and RBAC.
  • Act as both solution designer and hands‑on engineer — able to define architecture and also deliver technical execution.
  • Mentor junior engineers, setting high standards and promoting best practices.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align solutions with organisational needs and compliance standards.
  • Troubleshoot, monitor, and continuously improve Microsoft 365 services for reliability, security, and performance.
  • Keep up with emerging Microsoft technologies, proactively shaping adoption and improvements.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
  • 7+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years focused on Microsoft 365 / Modern Workplace solutions.
  • Project Delivery Track Record :
  • Successfully led 3–5 Microsoft 365 tenant‑to‑tenant migration projects, each covering 1,000+ users across Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Delivered Microsoft 365 projects with a cumulative value of USD $500K+ (or equivalent in scale / impact) within the past 3–5 years.
  • Completed at least 1 Exchange Online hybrid migration involving 5,000+ mailboxes.
  • Implemented Intune deployments for a minimum of 1,000 endpoints, including MDM, MAM, conditional access, and compliance policies.
  • Designed and enforced Microsoft Purview compliance frameworks in at least 2 enterprise / regulatory environments (e.g. finance, healthcare, government).
  • Managed and secured Entra ID / Azure AD in multi‑region enterprise environments, including advanced conditional access and role‑based access control.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated leadership — acted as team or project lead in at least 2 enterprise‑scale programmes, managing cross‑functional teams of 5–10+ engineers / consultants.
  • Excellent aptitude in troubleshooting, solution design, and problem‑solving, with strong communication skills.
  • Preferred certifications : MS-102, SC-400, MD-102, or equivalent.
