Residential Care Worker (Youth Care) #Rotating Shift - SM09
Job summary
A prominent HR advisory firm in Singapore is looking for a Night Residential Care Worker to oversee youths in an institutional facility. The role requires managing residents' welfare during night shifts, ensuring safety and security, and fostering positive relationships. Responsibilities include delivering trauma-informed care and performing security checks. Ideal candidates must be prepared for a rotating shift pattern. This position offers a salary between $2500 - $2700 plus shift allowance.
Qualifications
- Able to do rotating shifts.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the residents on a daily basis; manage welfare and discipline.
- Support the shift during emergencies.
- Deliver trauma-informed practices.
- Ensure safety and security of premises; conduct patrols and checks.
- Manage daily living needs of residents.
- Develop positive relationships with residents.
- Assist in taskforce assignments.
- Working location: Near to Buangkok Mrt
- Working hours: 10.30pm - 8.30am | 4 days work week (follow schedule, include one weekend)
- Salary: $2500 - $2700 + Shift Allowance
- Residential Care Worker will be working with the youths staying in an institutional facility, which focus on community rehabilitation. They are required to work night shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the residents on a daily basis; manage the welfare, discipline and standards of regimentation in the institution.
- Support the shift during emergency.
- Deliver Trauma-informed practices in daily interactions
- Ensure safety and security of premises, include perform body & property check, carry out security and night patrols, dormitory checks and conduct urine test (when necessary);
- Manage and provide care for the daily living needs of the residents in the Hostel;
- Able to develop positive relationship with the residents;
- Involve in taskforce, to assist and execute tasks required from the taskforce.
