About the Role

We are seeking aManager, Nursing & Care Coordinationwho will be responsible for clinical oversight, service quality and effective operations of our nursing and care coordination team. This is a role combining elements of people management, operations, clinical administration, service growth and performance of clinical duties in patient care. This role will report to the Head, Clinical Operations (General Health Services).

A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows:
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead and mentor a team of nurses and care coordinators.
  • Manage staffing, competency, team morale and performance reviews.
  • Foster a high-performing, goal-driven team culture capable of achieving clinical excellence, optimisation of operational efficiency and continued business growth.
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats - Clinician nurse, manager, coordinator.
Clinical Management in Health Services
  • Has a good grasp and understanding of the broad range of nursing services in the preventive, primary and step-down care field.
  • Develop, refine, and promulgate nursing protocols, care plans and care coordination workflows, especially in the areas of mobile medical services, home care and community care.
  • Provide support for complex cases and ensure adherence to care protocols.
  • Ensure the availability and suitability of medical devices and equipment used in nursing procedures.
  • Embraces change and continually challenges the boundaries of clinical nursing functions in the private healthcare industry.
Care Assessment & Coordination
  • Lead and develop remote triaging via phone or digital platforms, determining care urgency and appropriate next steps.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., GPs, specialists, administrators) to coordinate and right site patient care.
  • Effectively identify opportunities for continuity of care and ensure effective patient engagement within the health services of the company, including online and offline modes of service delivery.
  • Engage with potential partners to develop opportunities for care collaborations if the opportunity arises.
Operational & Business Acumens
  • Understands and inculcates the concepts of patient-payor-provider relationships in the private healthcare industry.
  • Monitor and improve service delivery metrics (e.g., response times, patient outcomes, satisfaction).
  • Identify opportunities for service innovation or process improvement.
  • Balance clinical ethics with business needs in service planning and deployment.
Patient Care Duties
  • Be skilled in a range of nursing procedures including IV/IM injections, cannulation, catheterisation, venipuncture, NGT insertions, wound dressings, diabetic foot and eye screening.
  • Takes the initiative to engage patient cases hands on, providing a role model to the team.
  • Join rosters for nursing deployments to home-based, in-clinic, and mobile onsite cases.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of clinical case notes and administrative duties such as post-service billings.
About you
  • Fully registered nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board.
  • Possesses a bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Advanced Diploma in Intensive Care or Trauma Care. The ideal candidate would also possess advanced qualifications in Nursing, or have worked in a field of wide clinical exposure such as emergency medicine or integrated care models.
  • Minimum 6-7 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year in a managerial or leadership capacity.
  • Prior experience handling community-based, patient outreach or home-based healthcare services preferred.
  • Strong work ethics and sense of responsibility to the team and patients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Pragmatic, and roll-up-your sleeves to handle work situations.
  • Proactive and nimble in solving matters.
  • Proficiency in healthcare management software and Google Suite.
  • Good knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations and best practices.
