Role: Project Manager

Key Skills:

1. Experience: Min 5 to 8 years in project and program management experience with a focus on digital initiatives. Proven experience in managing high-value and complex portfolio.
2. Communication: Strong Pitching, presentation, and written communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders and convey project updates and insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders, including executives, project managers, and cross-functional teams.
3. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing risk, troubleshooting issues, and making data-driven decisions related to resource allocation, project timelines, and financial metrics to keep portfolio on a healthy track.
4. Budget Management: Demonstrated success in managing project budgets, delivering cost-effective solutions and optimizing resources.
5. Process Improvement: Experience in implementing process improvements that enhance project efficiency and quality.
6. Leadership: Effective leadership and collaboration skills to drive cross-functional teams toward common goals and maintain effective communication channels.
7. Strategic Thinking: Ability to align program activities with overarching business objectives and strategic priorities.
8. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in resource management, project scope, and delivery timelines.
9. Technical skills: Jira, Confluence, PowerPoints, Excel advanced.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that impact one or across business, technology, and enterprise to drive project success.
2. Manage all aspects of Digital project and program engagement for retail mobile banking platform from planning, resource planning and budget, change management, risks and issues, ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruption to business operations.
3. Prepare overall implementation plans taking inputs from all stakeholders including technology, business, operations, regulators, etc., and coordinate execution by respective owners.
4. Ensure that projects are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
5. Manage day-to-day project activities, including chairing project management working committee meetings and facilitating steering committee meetings.
6. Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
7. Develop and present business cases with a consulting mindset, providing strategic recommendations for system upgrades, replacements, and process improvements.
8. Ensure compliance with banking regulations and technology risk management standards.

1. Manage project stakeholders, e.g., escalation, expectation, conflict, scope changes.
2. Manage relationships with stakeholders and ensure teams work in a collaborative environment.
3. Manage stakeholders expectations through governance processes.
4. Deliver appropriate and effective executive-level communication.
5. Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
6. Own and manage project scope, timelines, risks, and budget, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders at all levels.
7. Pitch and present project strategies, updates, and impacts to senior management and key stakeholders.
8. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, operations, and product teams, to ensure alignment with business goals.
9. Identify dependencies and proactively mitigate risks that may impact project deliverables.

Key Requirements:

1. Project Management Certification, Lean/Six Sigma (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile, or equivalent) is preferred.
2. Experience of having direct responsibility for projects with a budget size of $10 to $20 million.
3. 8+ years of experience in retail banking, and exposure to banking, product, operations, and process.
4. Excellent client-facing, executive-level communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Experience in full end-to-end project management in a lead role and/or background in business analysis or experience in an Agile/Scrum environment and framework.
6. Proficient in Excel and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence). Technical domain expertise is an advantage but at minimum is tech-savvy.
7. Understanding of technology and operational processes across functions in the bank.
8. Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
9. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and perform well under pressure and tight timelines.
10. Exceptional organizational and coordination abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
