Job summary

A recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking an Accounting professional to manage full sets of accounts independently and process daily finance transactions. The ideal candidate should have at least 1-2 years of accounting experience and hold a Diploma or higher in Accountancy. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is essential. The role involves preparing financial statements and reports, as well as liaising with external parties for annual audits.

Our client are looking for next team members to join their growing team :

Job Responsibilities:
  • Must be able to handle Full Set of Accounts independently
  • Process and handle daily finance transactions (AP/AR) and experience in handling full sets of accounts.
  • Handle day to day accounting operations and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.)
  • Processing of payments, assist in cash flow management
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are accurately recorded
  • Reconciliations of intercompany balances/transactions and key accounts are performed and reviewed.
  • Prepare for GST submission and filing.
  • Prepare sales report, financial statements and management reports.
  • Assist in the implementation of new ERP system
  • Liaise with external parties in annual auditing, tax and other financial needs as necessary
  • Assist in any ad-hoc duties assigned
Job Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher in Accountancy or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and familiarity with relevant computer software
  • Minimum 1-2 years of accounting experience
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision, able to work under pressure within tight schedules
  • Resourceful, Strong team player with good interpersonal and social skills
  • Meticulous and handle data entries accurately and efficiently
