The company is a recognised player in the Oil & Gas sector, with a trading arm that oversees global procurement, trading, and risk management of energy commodities. With ongoing business growth, an opportunity has opened for an Accounts Executive to support the expanding trading team.

Role

Reporting to Finance Manager. The role involves issuing daily sales invoices, maintaining the invoice and payment register, and updating the sales and purchases book for Physical and Paper transactions. It includes monthly reconciliations, inventory valuation, and fair value updates. The position also handles suspense account reconciliation, ensures freight costs are correctly captured, and monitors invoice due dates.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in accountancy or a related discipline and have at least 3 years of experience in trading accounting, settlement or trade finance. Prior working experience with a commodities trading or shipping company is a must. The candidate must also be able to perform well in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
