Junior Quantity Surveyor
Job summary
A construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor Executive to assist with cost control, estimation, and contract administration for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, 2 years' experience, and proficiency in MS Excel. Responsibilities include preparing cost estimates, monitoring project costs, and coordinating with project teams. Qualifications
- 2 years’ experience in quantity surveying or cost control.
- Exposure to commercial, industrial, or fit-out projects is an advantage.
- Knowledge of BOQ, contracts, and cost control processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Support tendering activities, including quotation comparison and documentation.
- Assist in monitoring project costs, variations, and expenses.
- Conduct site measurements and assist in valuation of work done.
- Support preparation of progress claims and payment certifications.
- Maintain cost records, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.

- Conduct site measurements and assist in valuation of work done.
