Job summary
A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a professional to oversee daily operations, enhance process efficiency, and manage quality assurance. The role involves team leadership, strategic planning, and vendor relations to support new business development. Candidates should have experience in operational management and a strong focus on quality standards. This position is critical to ensuring optimal productivity in daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing day-to-day operations for productivity and efficiency.
- Analyzing data to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Supervising and training team leaders to achieve goals.
- Developing and implementing operational strategies with departments.
- Monitoring manpower and resource plans for efficiency.
- Managing quality assurance to meet standards.
- Building vendor relationships and resolving customer issues.
- Supporting new business growth in products and technology.
- Overseeing Daily Operations: Ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day operation activities in areas like worker’s productivity, efficiency of the installation and resolving customers’ roadblocks.
Process Improvement: Analyzing operations data and developing strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
Team Leadership: Supervising, training and motivating supervisors and senior team leaders to achieve operational goals.
Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing operational strategies, often in collaboration with other departments such as sales and marketing.
Resource Management: Monitoring and managing manpower, financial, and resource plans to ensure efficient use of assets.
Quality Assurance: Managing programs and processes to ensure the quality of goods and services meets customer and organizational standards, like BizSafe, ISO and other relevant certifications
Vendor & Stakeholder Relations: Building strong partnerships, managing vendor relationships, and resolving customer issues.
New Business Development: Support new business growth in product and technical.
