We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trade Support Officer to support our post-trade operations team. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in the settlement and reconciliation of commodity trades. This is a great opportunity to start a career in the trading and finance industry, ideal for less experience or individuals with some administrative or accounting background.
Responsibilities:
Assist in compiling and checking documents for trade settlements.
Support the preparation of payment requests and basic accounting notes.
Help review sales and purchase contracts for completeness.
Perform basic validation of trade entries and support data matching against signed contracts.
Acknowledge and record incoming payments from clients.
Coordinate with internal teams (Accounts, Finance, Documentation) to ensure smooth workflows.
Assist with filing and maintaining accurate documentation and records.
Communicate with counterparties and overseas offices for routine reconciliation matters.
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Settlement Manager.
Requirements:
Diploma in Accountancy, Business Administration, or related field.
2 years of relevant working experience,
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Willingness to learn Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Good communication skills and a strong team player.
Detail-oriented, responsible, and organized.
Able to adapt in a fast-paced, multi-cultural trading environment.
