Job summary

A leading procurement firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced procurement specialist to manage operational purchasing duties. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in relevant fields and at least 5 years of experience in construction EPC projects. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Work with vendors and internal stakeholders on the daily operational purchasing duties such as sourcing, planning and issuing of Purchase Orders
  • Explore, select, evaluate, review and manage the performance of suppliers and vendors
  • Update approved vendor list
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with sub-contractors or service providers and control the risks
  • Meet the project procurement needs within timeline and allocated budget
  • Follow up to ensure closure of purchase orders with traceable record
  • Arrange and manage the logistics of goods to ensure timely delivery
  • Analyse and resolve issues with delivery, quality and payment with vendors
  • Participate and assist ISO and other audits
  • Ad hoc project / duties assigned
Job Requirement
  • Diploma / Degree in Procurement/ Supply Chain/ Business Administration/ Business Management or equivalent
  • Resourceful with good interpersonal & communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • At least 5 years’ experience with construction EPC projects
  • Good personality and integrity
  • Experience with MYOB is an advantage
  • Able to work under stress in a fast paced environment
