Job summary
A financial services company in Singapore is seeking an experienced finance professional to prepare monthly financial reports and support budget processes. Responsibilities include managing accounts receivable, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Candidates should have a degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. The position offers a salary of up to $6,000 and is available for immediate start.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience with full sets of accounts.
- CPA, ACCA, CIMA or CA preferred.
- Able to start work immediately or on short notice.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial reporting for assigned entities.
- Support the Financial Controller in providing financial information.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable and maintain Fixed Asset Registers.
Skills
Education
- Prepare monthly financial reporting for assigned entities
- Support the Financial Controller in providing financial information to the Director.
- Work with Project Managers and Cost Controllers to ensure accurate project P&L and reporting.
- Post journal entries as needed.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable, including sales invoicing, revenue accruals, ageing reports, and debtor review meetings.
- Maintain and regularly review Fixed Asset Registers with the Management Team.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and attend bi-monthly review meetings.
- Assist in preparing monthly forecasts, including required reporting and commentary.
- Support the annual budget process.
- Assist with year-end audit and liaise with auditors.
- Help with tax accounting and coordination with tax teams to meet deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, policies, and regulatory standards.
- Any other adhoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, CIMA or CA preferred)
- Min 3 years experience with full sets of accounts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Location: Loyang
- Working Hours: Mon - Fri (9am-6pm)
- Salary: Up to $6000
- Able to start work immediate or on short notice
