About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer Lead (Level 3) to manage multi-cloud infrastructure for both commercial and Singapore Government environments. The role focuses on AWS, with additional exposure to Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, security compliance, automation, and team mentorship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain multi-cloud production environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Hands-on with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, Systems Manager, WAF, GuardDuty).
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates.
  • Lead OS patching across Windows and RHEL using AWS Patch Manager, Azure Update Management, and SCCM.
  • Troubleshoot system and application issues in Windows and Linux environments.
  • Perform CIS hardening, vulnerability remediation (Qualys, Tenable, Trend Micro), and ensure compliance with GovTech IM8 standards.
  • Support DevSecOps practices and container platforms (EKS, AKS, GKE, Docker).
  • Participate in incident, problem, and change management via ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Maintain documentation, SOPs, and ensure audit readiness.
  • Mentor and guide Level 2 engineers; act as technical escalation point.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in Cloud Engineering and 3 years hands‑on experience in AWS/Azure/GCP environments.
  • At least 2 years of experience in public sector or regulated cloud setups.
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code, patch management, and automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes, cloud security, and operational excellence.
  • Experience in 24/7 operational support with shift rotation.
  • Familiar with SHIP-HATS and Singapore Government technology frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and troubleshooting skills.
