Job description

The Technical Lead will drive the academy’s technology initiatives in alignment with its three key directives:
Revenue & Cashflow, Lean & Productive and Digital Transformation. This role leads the Operations & Technology Roadmap, manages digital grant projects with IMDA DLP, integrates tools like Microsoft Copilot, and ensures all departments meet digital transformation milestones. The Technical Lead will also digitise student recruitment processes, oversee technology requirements, and manage vendor relationships to enhance efficiency, compliance, and results

Key Roles
Responsibility

1. Digital Transformation Strategy & Execution

  • Lead the development, execution, and monitoring of the academy’s Operations & Technology Roadmap.
  • Collaborate with IMDA Digital Leadership Programme (DLP) to secure and manage digital transformation grants. (2 years project)
  • Integrate Microsoft Copilot and other digital tools to improve productivity and decision-making.

2. Student Recruitment Digital Integration

  • Partner with Student Recruitment to digitise lead management, enrolment, and payment tracking.
  • Create and maintain dashboards for real-time KPI tracking across recruitment and operations.

3. Vendor & Technology Management

  • Act as main contact for outsourced IT provider (SFIT) and ensure alignment with academy's goals.
  • Recommend and implement technology solutions to enhance efficiency and revenue.

4. Compliance, Governance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with data protection, cybersecurity standards, and industry regulations.
  • Support the Quality Assurance (QA) Committee by developing and maintaining digital tools for audit tracking, compliance monitoring, and reporting.

5. Training & Change Management

  • Train and support staff on new systems to promote adoption and efficiency.
  • Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the academy.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Will be on contract for IMDA Project for 2 years
  • Advanced knowledge in software development methodologies and tools.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in system architecture and design principles.
