Job summary
A leading financial services firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced business analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in the financial and asset management industry, focusing on developing financial models and providing insights for strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for analyzing workflows and improving operational efficiency. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and excellent analytical and communication skills.
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in XP&A/FP&A in the financial or asset management industry.
- Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engagement workflow to support transformation.
- Analyze financial workflow and provide insights and recommendations.
- Work with other departments to ensure alignment on operational efficiency.
Skills
Education
We are looking for an experienced business analyst to join our team as XP & A SME. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in the financial and asset management industry, with a strong understanding of extended planning and analysis principles including Finance, operations and other departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing financial models, preparing budgets and forecasts, and providing analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and implement engagement workflow (as-is and To-be) to support transformation
- Analyze financial workflow with an operations lens, capture issues and provide analysis for improvement
- Provide insights and recommendations with established solution to remove impediments
- Work with other departments to ensure alignment on operational efficiency and financial accuracy
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
- Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- 8-10 years of experience in XP&A/FP&A in the financial or asset management industry
- Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
