A respected multi-asset brokerage firm in Singapore seeks a Securities Operations Analyst to manage post-trade activities and ensure compliance. Responsibilities include processing trades, maintaining accurate data, and liaising with brokers. Ideal candidates will have a degree in finance or business and 2-4 years of relevant experience. Join a supportive team that values personal development and operational excellence.
As a Securities Operations Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless post-trade operations within a dynamic brokerage environment. Your day-to‑day responsibilities will involve processing trades after market closure across multiple exchanges, resolving any issues swiftly before critical cut‑off times, and performing necessary amendments with precision. You will maintain accurate brokerage rates and instrument data within sophisticated back‑office systems while reconciling trades to guarantee data integrity. Building strong connections with foreign brokers will be essential as you address trade‑related queries collaboratively. Additionally, you will support financial processes by posting journal entries and participate actively in business continuity planning initiatives. Covering evening shifts for the Futures Team may be required occasionally, where you will manage customer funds movements and handle complex trade file uploads from major Asian exchanges. Your commitment to submitting timely position reports ensures regulatory compliance is always met. This role offers variety each day while allowing you to contribute meaningfully to both routine operations and special projects.
Your proven experience as a Securities Operations Analyst or similar role means you bring valuable expertise in managing post‑trade activities within banking or brokerage environments. With a background in finance or business management, you understand the intricacies of securities settlements and possess the technical acumen required for back‑office operations. Your ability to prioritise tasks under pressure ensures that deadlines are consistently met without sacrificing quality. You are known for your meticulous attention to detail which allows you to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining high standards of accuracy. Your interpersonal skills enable you to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external brokers, fostering an atmosphere of trust and mutual respect. Communication comes naturally to you; whether resolving issues or sharing insights with colleagues, your considerate approach strengthens team cohesion. Above all, your willingness to learn new processes and adapt quickly makes you an asset in environments that value continuous improvement.
