Position Objective And Summary

• Responsible for preparing a full set of accounts and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of financial reports.

Main Tasks / Activities / Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational finance activities efficiently.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance reports and management reports.
• Supervise and guide Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) personnel.
• Maintain and monitor the general ledger, fixed asset registers, and accounting schedules to ensure alignment with the Profit & Loss statement and Balance Sheet.
• Oversee company liquidity, monitor cash flow, and review financial performance including accounts receivable and debt collection.
• Update monthly exchange rates in the system and perform relevant general ledger adjustments.
• Prepare and submit GST filings and corporate income tax returns on time.
• Reconcile monthly revenue with billing records.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, as well as tax agents, to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Support business and line managers with financial data and reporting requirements.
• Generate ad hoc reports and provide financial analysis as needed.
• Ensure financial policies and procedures are compliant with regulatory standards and are consistently applied across business units.
• Undertake special finance-related projects and provide timely financial insights to support operational and strategic decisions.

Job requirement (education, linguistic ability, professional experience, leadership qualities, soft skills etc.)

• Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial reporting.
• Proven experience in month-end closing activities.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
