Job summary
A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an experienced finance manager to oversee full accounting functions, manage invoices, ensure compliance with regulations, and lead a finance team. The ideal candidate will have at least a degree in accounting and over 7 years of experience in the construction engineering field. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the construction engineering field.
- Experience managing a finance team and leading its development.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting functions and ensure accuracy.
- Manage invoicing and follow up with vendors for payments.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Maintain organized financial records.
- Conduct audits and resolve discrepancies.
- Lead and mentor the finance team.
Skills
Education
- Full Set Accounts: Oversee the entire spectrum of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of all financial activities.
- Invoice Management: Maintain detailed records of outstanding invoices and proactively follow up with vendors and internal teams to ensure prompt payments.
- Regulatory Compliance: Keep updated with company policies as well as local, state, and federal financial regulations to ensure full compliance at all times.
- Financial Recordkeeping: Ensure all financial documents—such as receipts, invoices, and reports—are accurate, organized, and properly maintained.
- Audit & Issue Resolution: Conduct regular reviews of financial transactions and accounts, quickly identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage the finance team by offering guidance, support, and mentorship to promote their development and overall performance.
- At least Degree in accounting related
- At least 7 years of working experience in construction engineering field is required for this position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
