Job summary
A consulting firm in Singapore is seeking an Accounting Assistant to assist with financial tasks including invoice management and payment processing. Candidates should have a minimum Nitec in Accounting or equivalent. Strong MS Office skills are essential. The position involves managing accounts payable cycles and collaborating on tax and audit processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications required: Nitec in Accounting, Diploma in Accounting, or CAT/LCCI certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist in accounting tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
- Handle monthly billing and invoice processing.
- Maintain digital invoice management and oversee the AP cycle.
Skills
Education
- Responsible in assisting in Accounts, ensure accounting deadlines are met
- Handle monthly billing (Debit Note & Sales Invoices)
- Maintain Bill‑one (a digital invoice management), document processing and checking on invoicing details, reject invoice if is wrongly billed.
- Monitor for charges made on corporate card matching, collect receipts, retrieve invoices from consultants or billing entity,
- Maintain financial filing system that is easily accessible.
- Oversee AP cycle: Manage invoice processing, payment runs, expense claims, and vendor reconciliation.
- Assist with tax & audit process
- Prepare and process payments when necessary
- Perform ad‑hoc accounting tasks support when necessary
- MS Office skills
Minimum Nitec and above in Accounting or equivalent, Diploma in Accounting, or CAT/LCCI certification.
