Job summary

A leading consulting firm based in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to handle full sets of accounts, including AP, AR, GL and reporting, alongside preparation of financial statements and management accounts. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of accounting experience, a Diploma in Accounting or equivalent, and be proficient in MS Excel. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin to cater to clients are essential. Job description

Responsibilities

• Handles several full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL & Reporting), including reconciliations and preparation of schedules
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
• Assist in timely year end closing accounts.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and management accounts
• Keying in data entries.
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST report
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned and required by the company
• Handle customers’ queries via email &/or calls
• Monitor customer’s accounts and filling deadline
• Prepare tax schedules and simple income tax computations.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 year experience in accounting roles
• Basic Accounting knowledge, Minimum Diploma in Accounting / LCCI or equivalent
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
• Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills to coordinate with all levels and positive working attitude
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Good interpersonal skills and positive working attitude
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin, can deal with chinese clients
