SENIOR ACCOUNTANT (Contract Role)

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager, you will be involved in the following:

1. Statutory reporting and US Tax reporting for Legal Entity
2. General accounting and account reconciliation
3. Sarbanes-Oxley compliance (SOX)
4. Preparation of Statutory Financial Statements and disclosure notes for Singapore Legal Entities, which involve consolidating financial schedules of 11 internal business units.
5. Preparation and consolidation of US LE GAAP Tax reporting for Legal Entities
6. Preparation of schedules for statutory audit and US tax reporting for a business unit of over 10 overseas locations.
7. Perform monthly and quarterly closing activities including review of accounting entries and activities serviced by outsourced BPO and account reconciliation.
8. Adherence to the company's worldwide accounting policies, applicable GAAPs, and compliance with SOX. Responsible for updating SOX documentation and SOPs.
9. Partner and work closely with auditors, business unit finance, global finance services, business support COE, and tax COE to ensure all reporting requirements are fulfilled accurately and timely.
10. Drive process improvement and aim for standardization across business sectors (Medical, Pharmaceutical, and Consumer).

Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree holder with at least 4 years of experience in US GAAP reporting and month-end closing activities.
2. Knowledge of SAP is a must.
3. Good Excel skills.
4. Works well within a team.
