A leading energy technology firm in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to inspect and report on gas turbines and compressors. You will manage tools, create work orders, and improve processes in a dynamic team environment. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field and have at least 5 years of applicable experience. Industry Energy technology (IET) part of Baker Hughes Company operates across 120 countries and serves the entire energy value-chain and industrial sector. We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology and lifecycle services. Our mechanical Engineering Team uses cutting-edge technology to design gas and steam turbines, compressors and expanders.
You will be responsible for inspecting in shop Gas Turbine and Centrifugal Compressors, including components, producing reports of the activities performed (including NDT). The candidate will also be responsible for rotor balancing. In the scope of this role is also to verify the status of components at arrival performing inspection, producing a report about status, compete the report issuing the final report. The candidate will also create the repair workorders for inspection and repair, prepare the scope of work and Inspection/Completion reports for each job orders, Lead the repair qualification for new components.
