Project Manager – Retail & F&B Fit‑Out

The Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering high‑end Retail and F&B fit‑out projects in line with corporate governance, international standards, and client expectations. The role ensures projects are executed within approved scope, budget, timeline, and quality benchmarks, while effectively managing stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams.

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, to final handover.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, contractual obligations, and international project management standards.
  • Establish clear project governance structures, reporting lines, and approval matrices.
  • Own project budgets and implement robust cost control and financial forecasting processes.
  • Monitor project cash flow, variations, and change orders; provide cost impact assessments and recommendations.
  • Ensure commercial compliance with contracts, procurement strategies, and subcontract agreements.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules; proactively identify critical path risks.
  • Implement risk management frameworks, mitigation strategies, and contingency plans.
  • Drive recovery plans in case of schedule or cost deviations.
  • Lead, manage, and evaluate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure performance, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, landlords, and regulatory authorities.
  • Facilitate effective cross‑functional coordination between design, procurement, site, and commercial teams.
  • Ensure all works meet approved specifications, quality standards, and HSE regulations.
  • Enforce QA/QC procedures and ensure adherence to international fit‑out best practices.
  • Provide accurate, timely executive‑level reports covering progress, cost, risks, and forecasts.
  • Lead high‑level meetings, presentations, and negotiations with senior stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil / Architectural or equivalent).
  • 8–10 years of proven experience managing Retail and F&B fit‑out projects.
  • Strong background in contracting, interior fit‑out, and fast‑track commercial projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Proven experience managing subcontractors and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
