An exciting opportunity is available for Sr Supervisor, Hail Warehouse & Store, based in Hael.
Organises and oversees the day-to-day operations of a team in a substantial warehousing or stores facility, or the full scope of operations in a smaller facility.
Ensures that Supply Chain Policies and Procedures and QSHE Standards are observed at all times. Recruits, trains and performance manages team members.
- Monitors and identifies causes of product or materials losses and takes or recommends appropriate corrective actions.
- Overseestheefficient receipt, issueand correct storage of raw materials, MROand/orfinished goods.
- Ensures the organisations policies for safe and efficient warehouse/stores operations are implemented andobserved at all times.
- Identifies discrepancies against manifests and arranges for invoice adjustments or replacements for missing or damaged items.
- Oversees operation of procedures for thecorrectuse and maintenance of materials handling equipment andrelated staff training.
- Organises selection, preparationloading, despatchof productsto external customers/goodsand materialsto internal customers.
- Optimises cost performancethroughefficient use of storagespace andeffective location and protection of stored materials.
- Monitorsinventories and effectivelyimplements processes for maintenance of required stocking levels.
bachelor’s or Diploma degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or related field.
5 years in warehouse or store operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
