Job summary
A leading industrial services provider in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Millwright Technician to perform mechanical maintenance on rotating equipment. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in the petrochemical or heavy industry. The role emphasizes adherence to safety protocols and efficient task execution. Preferred certifications include OSHA and Aramco work permits.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Millwright Technician.
- Strong background in rotating equipment maintenance.
- Preferred: OSHA / Aramco Work Permit Holder / SAFETY Certifications.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble and reassemble mechanical equipment.
- Perform precise alignment of rotating equipment.
- Conduct inspections to identify mechanical issues.
- Replace defective parts such as bearings and seals.
- Interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.

- Disassemble and reassemble mechanical equipment including pumps, turbines, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, blowers, and valves.
- Perform precise alignment of rotating equipment using dial indicators, laser alignment tools, and other precision instruments.
- Conduct inspections to identify wear, damage, or mechanical issues and report findings.
- Replace defective parts such as bearings, seals, gaskets, shafts, and couplings.
- Interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and job plans to execute tasks accurately.
- Work efficiently to meet turnaround schedules while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
- Assist in rigging and lifting heavy components in accordance with safety procedures.
- Coordinate with planners, supervisors, and safety teams to ensure compliance and proper documentation.
- Use hand and power tools, hoists, jacks, and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including use of PPE, LOTO procedures, and permit systems.
Education: Industrial / Technical Diploma in Mechanical Maintenance or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Millwright Technician in petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industry shutdowns.
- Strong background in rotating equipment maintenance during shutdowns is essential.
Certifications (Preferred):
- OSHA / Aramco Work Permit Holder / SABIC Safety Certifications
- Rigging and lifting operations training
- Laser alignment certification
