Job summary

- Use CARIS HIPS/SIPS (v11.4.23+) for data processing.
- Generate final bathymetric products and manage CARIS project files.
- Clean data using swath/subset editors and apply CUBE or other filters.

Our client is a government-affiliated marine research organization dedicated to sustainable ocean development. They focus on advanced seabed mapping and environmental monitoring as part of a broader marine spatial planning initiative, aiming to support the growth of the regional "blue economy."
- Process and validate MBES datasets in line with IHO S-44 standards
- Use CARIS HIPS/SIPS (v11.4.23+) for data processing
- Apply GPS tide models, datum shifts, delta draft corrections, and refraction editing
- Generate final bathymetric products and manage CARIS project files
- Clean data using swath/subset editors and apply CUBE or other filters
- Validate processed data against previous surveys and crosslines
- 10+ years offshore hydrographic data processing experience
- Proficiency with CARIS HIPS & SIPS, Qimera, QiNSy
- Experience with MBES systems: EM302, EM2040, SVP/MVP
- Competent in patch test and calibration for EM302/EM2040
- Valid ENG1 medical certificate
- STCW-95 basic safety certificate (issued within the last 5 years)
- Security Awareness Certification (preferred)
- Work schedule: Monday to Sunday, 12-hour days
