Job summary

An engineering and project management firm is seeking a Senior Corrosion / Material Engineer (Offshore) based in Khafji, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate has over 12 years of experience in corrosion engineering, particularly within the Oil and Gas sector, and holds a relevant Bachelor's degree. This role entails knowledge of Saudi standards and involvement in petrochemical projects.

Qualifications

  • At least 12 years of experience in Corrosion Engineering.
  • 6 years within Oil and Gas / Petrochemical projects.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards is beneficial.

Job description

Senior Corrosion / Material Engineer (Offshore)

Penspen www.penspen.com are looking for Senior Corrosion / Material Engineer (Offshore), the position is to be based in Khafji, Saudi Arabia.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)
  • At least Twelve (12) years of experience; Six (6) years of them within the field of Corrosion Engineering for major Oil and Gas / Petrochemical projects
  • PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures / practices is beneficial.
  • Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or closely related Engineering discipline with special studies in Corrosion / Materials / Metallurgic.
