IT Dental Application Specialist
Job summary
A leading healthcare technology firm in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced IT Dental Application Specialist to manage the installation and maintenance of dental imaging devices and related software applications. This role requires strong expertise in health information systems and excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and has a minimum of three years of experience in a healthcare IT role. Proficiency in English and a client-focused approach are essential. Opportunities for training and engagement with users will be provided.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Dental Application Specialist or relevant healthcare IT role.
- Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems such as RIS, PACS, LIS, HIS, and DMS.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain dental imaging devices and software.
- Monitor system performance and optimize resources.
- Provide training and support to end users.

As an IT Dental Application Specialist, your role will include the installation, configuration and maintenance of our dental Imaging devices and related software applications, you will monitor system performance, analyse system logs, and optimize system resources to ensure high stability and efficiency, as well as provide the necessary training and support to the end users, and support the sales process by providing technical expertise and product knowledge and demonstration.
Bachelors’ degree in Dental technology, IT or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Dental Application Specialist or in a relevant healthcare IT role.
- Experienced in Dental Application Specialist installations and configuration management (Software Implementation & Integration, DICOM & Imaging System Expertise, Dental CAD/CAM and Network & Hardware Support.
- Strong understanding of health information & IT aspects of healthcare sector overall (Radiology Information systems (RIS), Picture Archiving Communication Systems (PACS), Laboratory information system (LIS), Hospital Information System (HIS), Dose management System (DMS).)
- Strong interpersonal skills, including (communication, problem-solving, multitasking, disciplined. training skills).
- Client-focused, with strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Advanced proficiency in English (reading, speaking, and writing).
- The ability to travel according to business requirements.
