  • Ensure all electrical installation designs and implementations conform to IEC standards, project specifications, and grid code requirements.

Construction & Installation Oversight:

  • Supervise the on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of all WTG electrical components, including internal wiring, power conversion systems, control cabinets, and earthing systems.
  • Monitor the quality of electrical work, ensuring adherence to strict safety protocols (LOTO procedures, arc flash safety) and quality control measures.
  • Coordinate with the WTG supplier/OEM and the EPC team to resolve electrical interface issues.

Testing and Commissioning:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive pre-commissioning and commissioning test procedures for WTG electrical systems.
  • Witness and approve Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
  • Ensure successful energization and integration of the WTGs into the medium-voltage (MV) collection network.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Provide expert technical guidance for resolving complex electrical faults and performance issues encountered during construction, commissioning, and initial operation.
  • Maintain detailed records of all electrical modifications, tests, and maintenance activities.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports on electrical progress, safety incidents, and quality issues related to the WTGs.
