About CEQUENS

CEQUENS is a leading cloud communication platform in the Middle East and Africa region and is dedicated to simplifying communications and building bridges to allow businesses to communicate with their customers, no matter where they are. The company provides Omni-Channel communication API’s enabling enterprises and developers to communicate with their customer base worldwide.

About the role

As a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer, you'll serve as the technical liaison between the sales team and prospective clients. Your primary responsibility is to understand client needs and demonstrate how the company's CPaaS / SaaS solutions, enhanced by AI capabilities, can address those needs effectively. This role involves crafting tailored solutions, delivering compelling demonstrations, and ensuring a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation. The right candidate will come from a software develpoment background and know the SDLC well. This role would not suit a network or security engineer. The role is based in Riyadh onsite, so you will already be based in Saudi Arabia.

The role will building industry specific use cases utilizing CEQUENS products and solutions showcasing the value and impact of the CEQUENS platforms. The right candidate will excel in a customer facing high performance team to collaborate and win joint opportunities with sales and customer success. It will lead on RFP / RFI submissions and act as liaison between different departments to cover technical and business requirements to ensure best optimal results achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with sales representatives to understand customer requirements and present tailored solutions that leverage the company's CPaaS / SaaS offerings, including AI functionalities.
  • Solution Design: Analyze customer needs and design appropriate solutions that integrate seamlessly with their existing systems and workflows.
  • Demonstrations & Proof of Concepts (PoCs): Develop and deliver product demonstrations and PoCs to showcase the value and capabilities of the solutions.
  • Technical Documentation: Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, RFP / RFI responses, and other documentation to support the sales process.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product management and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and influence product development.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and emerging AI technologies in the SaaS and CPaaS space.
Requirements
Essential Skills & Qualifications

Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of SaaS and CPaaS architectures, APIs, and integration methods.

AI Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of AI concepts and models, including various Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications.

Communication Skills: Excellent ability to interface effectively with C-level executives and technical decision-makers, presenting complex demos and conducting business-driven workshops.

Experience: Extensive experience in crafting impactful use cases and customer journeys based on thorough business analysis and customer requirements.

Technical Background: Solid technical background with Proficiency in prompt engineering and programming / scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, and Java, as well as web technologies.

Sales Experience: Full-cycle SaaS sales experience with enterprise clients, with the ability to consistently deliver against targets.

Educational Background

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
