Job summary
A leading professional services provider is seeking a qualified Senior Civil Engineer for a major government airport project in Al Jouf – Sakaka, Saudi Arabia. This role requires strong technical and supervisory skills in civil works, overseeing high-quality construction and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams over a 36-month contract. Qualified candidates should have a degree in engineering, PMP certification preferred, and at least 12 years of experience in mega projects, particularly in government airport projects within the GCC.

- Minimum 12 years of solid experience in mega projects.
- At least 4 years as a Senior Civil Engineer in government airport projects.

The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for supervising and managing civil engineering activities on-site for a government airport project. This role involves ensuring high-quality construction execution, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining adherence to project timelines and standards over a 36-month contract duration.
- Oversee and manage all civil works on-site in accordance with project specifications and standards.
- Monitor construction progress, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers, and project managers throughout project phases.
- Review civil engineering plans, reports, and technical documentation.
- Ensure timely execution of work packages and resolve site-related engineering issues.
- Utilize civil engineering tools and software, including AutoCAD and structural design applications.
- Prepare regular progress reports and support project decision-making processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized and accredited university.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of solid experience in mega projects (with attested certificates).
- At least 4 years as a Senior Civil Engineer in government airport projects within the GCC.
- Strong supervision and site management capabilities for civil construction works.
- Good background in structural design software and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
