Job Purpose/Objective:
The Warehouse Operator at MAKEEN is a critical link in our manufacturing and MRO supply chain, ensuring precision, efficiency, and compliance in the handling, storage, and distribution of materials, components, and spare parts. By maintaining rigorous inventory control and operational standards, this role directly supports the reliability, quality, and on-time delivery of MAKEEN’s engine solutions—meeting the exacting requirements of our OEM partners and global customers.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Receiving & Inspection
- Receive inbound shipments, verify materials and components against delivery documentation, and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods, including OEM parts from MTU, ZF, Kongsberg, Desmi, and others.
2. Storage & Inventory Control
- Store materials and components in designated warehouse locations, following safety, quality, and OEM specific guidelines.
- Perform regular cycle counts and participate in full inventory audits to maintain accurate stock records.
- Update inventory management systems (ERP/WMS) with all material movements, ensuring traceability and compliance.
3. Order Fulfillment & Dispatch
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for production, maintenance, and external customer requirements.
- Coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring correct documentation and packaging for both local and international deliveries.
- Support urgent requests for spare parts or materials critical to production and MRO operations.
4. Warehouse Operations & Housekeeping
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment at all times.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, OEM requirements, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, logistics, and quality teams to resolve issues and support business goals.
- Participate in regular training on new systems, safety, and OEM-specific handling procedures.
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in logistics or warehousing is an advantage.

Person Specification
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
- Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, moving, standing for extended periods).
- Basic computer literacy (email, inventory software, handheld scanners).
- Familiarity with safety and quality procedures in an industrial warehouse.
- Forklift license or certification is a plus.
- Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is highly desirable.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on warehouse, logistics, or supply chain experience in the following industrial sectors:
- Internal combustion engines (parts handling, inventory management)
- Marine propulsion systems (component storage, order fulfillment)
- Power generation equipment (material receiving, kitting, and distribution)
- MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) operations (spare parts tracking, warranty stock management)
Languages : Proficiency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is required.
