Qualifications

• Certified by DOE for CePIETSO-BP or PCP.
• Willingness to work night and rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine checks on pumps and treatment units.
• Respond to alarms, breakdowns, and emergency situations.

Job description

Operate and monitor wastewater treatment plant systems and equipment

Perform routine checks on pumps, blowers, tanks, and treatment units

Collect wastewater samples and conduct basic testing (pH, DO, sludge level, etc.)

Record daily operational data and report abnormalities

Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas

Respond to alarms, breakdowns, and emergency situations promptly

Ensure treatment processes comply with environmental and safety standards

Follow SOPs, safety rules, and environmental regulations

Support supervisors during audits, inspections, and improvement activities

Perform any other related duties as assigned by the superior from time to time, in alignment with operational needs and organizational goals.

REQUIREMENT

• Diploma in the field of mechanical / electrical engineering / professional engineering certification or equivalent.
• Must Certified by DOE as competent person for CePIETSO- BP or PCP. Those with valid interim certificate are encouraged to apply.
• At least 2 years of working experience managing WWTP.
• Ability to work night shift / rotating shift.
