Responsibilities

  • Install conduit, trunking, wiring, and cables for electrical systems.
  • Install electrical fixtures like lighting points, sockets, and distribution boards.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical circuits and equipment.
  • Perform testing to ensure installations are safe and compliant.
  • Maintain logs of electrical work and materials used.
  • Execute scheduled maintenance for HVAC systems and plumbing.
  • Assist with setup and maintenance of auxiliary systems.
  • Conduct routine safety checks.
Job description
Responsibilities
  • Installation: Install conduit, trunking, wiring and cables for electrical systems in new and existing buildings.
  • Fitting & Fixturing: Install electrical fixtures such as lighting points, switches, sockets, distribution boards (DB) and consumer units.
  • Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical circuits, appliances and equipment (e.g., ceiling fans, water heaters, exhaust fans).
  • Testing & Commissioning: Perform continuity, insulation resistance and earth resistance tests. Ensure all installations are safe and compliant before energizing.
  • Compliance: Adhere strictly to the Electricity Regulations 1994, Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) guidelines and meet MS IEC and MS standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain logs of electrical work, test reports and materials used.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance for HVAC systems, plumbing (basic), fire protection systems (alarm, sprinklers) and basic civil works.
  • Support Services: Assist with the setup and maintenance of auxiliary systems such as CCTV, LIFE, AED, LPG and backup genset.
  • Safety Checks: Conduct routine safety checks.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a recognised certificate in Electrical Engineering.
  • Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 or higher in electrical installation & maintenance.
  • 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in both electrical wiring and general building maintenance.
