Job summary

A logistics company in Johor Bahru is seeking a candidate to oversee water treatment operations. Responsibilities include managing treatment equipment, conducting wastewater sampling, and maintaining accurate records. Candidates should have a minimum diploma in engineering, good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge. Experience in IETS or a similar role is preferred, but fresh graduates may be considered. A forklift license is also required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in IETS or similar role (entry level / fresh graduates may be considered).
• Able to prepare and adjust chemicals based on effluent water quality.
• Experience with wastewater sampling and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the functioning of water treatment equipment.
• Conduct daily monitoring for required parameters.
• Maintain accurate records of water quality data and test results.

Skills

Good communication skills (Bahasa Malaysia and English)

Basic knowledge in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting

Good in Mathematics & Science

Ability to handle and manage sludge

Education

Minimum Diploma in Engineering or SPM or related field
