Job summary

A leading electronics manufacturer in Penang is seeking a quality and inventory management professional responsible for tagging and inspecting materials. You will ensure proper labeling and track materials through the MRB process, coordinating closely with stakeholders in Quality and Production. The role requires attention to detail and compliance with safety standards. This position involves managing MRB data in ERP/WMS and maintaining logs. Candidates should be organized and efficient in managing stock.

Responsibilities

• Tag and place suspect or defective materials into MRB/Quarantine location.
• Ensure proper labeling such as 'Hold,' 'Reject,' 'Awaiting Disposition.'
• Inspect material for damage, expiration, mislabeling, and packaging issues.
• Coordinate investigations with Quality, Receiving, Production, and Engineering.
• Update WMS/ERP status accordingly.
• Enter MRB data in ERP/WMS (Infor LNCE).
• Maintain MRB logs, NCRs, and deviation records.
• Notify stakeholders (Quality, Procurement, Production) of MRB status.
• Monitor MRB storage areas for compliance with safety requirements.
• Responsible for inventory cycle counts and reconciliation of MRB stock.

Inspect material for damage, expiration, mislabeling, packaging issues, or spec deviations.

Coordinate investigations with Quality, Receiving, Production, and Engineering.

Continue process approved dispositions:

Approved Dispositions

• Use as-is


• Rework / Repack


• Scrap


• Sort or re-inspection

Update WMS/ERP status accordingly.

MRB Data and Logs

Enter MRB data in ERP/WMS (Infor LNCE).

Maintain MRB logs, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and deviation records.

Stakeholder Communication

Notify stakeholders (Quality, Procurement, Production, program) of MRB status.

Track open MRB items and follow up on pending decisions.

Monitor MRB storage areas for compliance with segregation and safety requirements.

Inventory Management

Responsible of inventory cycle counts and reconciliation of MRB stock.
