Job summary

A leading logistics company located in Selangor, Malaysia, seeks a Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations. The role includes managing stock arrangement, optimizing delivery routes, and ensuring compliance with inventory management standards. Qualifications

Job description

Managing the entire day-to-day warehouse & logistic operations, including:

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing all the stock arrangement & storage according to FIFO within the warehouse
  • Managing all non-stock materials neatly & in a systematic manner
  • Optimising daily delivery route system & allocating lorry drivers & warehouse attendants
  • Delivering all sales channels (local & outstation) daily fulfilment
  • Handling inter-outlet stock requests across all sales channels
  • Maintaining warehouse premises & physical assets
  • Repairing & maintaining cold-rooms, vehicles & forklift
  • Reporting stock level & variance to senior management
  • Managing incoming shipment/container
  • Securing warehouse & vehicles security system
  • Managing people, petty cash, admin work processes & other warehouse resources
  • Updating & optimising Standard Operating Procedures & warehouse workflow
1. Managing Employees
  • Planning & organising learning, training & career development
  • Ensuring employees produce results, clock in minimum working hours daily
  • Setting clear direction, expectations & job description
  • Taking immediate disciplinary actions when necessary
  • Praising employees for small efforts
  • Inspiring positive thinking & healthy workplace relationships

2. Continuous Process Improvement
  • Planning & organising continuous improvement of existing work processes
  • Ensuring processes add value & align with company vision
  • Setting clear timelines & monitoring improvement plans
  • Keeping employees updated on progress
  • Finding alternative solutions to guide problem resolution
3. Managing Warehousing & Logistics
  • Ensuring proper stock arrangement & FIFO rotation for efficient picking
  • Coordinating delivery process to ensure accurate & timely stock to outlets
  • Maintaining stock delivery accuracy
  • Keeping warehouse clean & tidy always
  • Coordinating repair & preventive maintenance of trucks & forklift
  • Planning cost-effective delivery routes
  • Coordinating warehouse security system & guard deployment
4. Managing Stocks & Assets in Warehouse
  • First contact point for restaurants & warehouse
  • Ensuring timely receipt of all restaurant orders
  • Ensuring delivery truck stock tally with Delivery Order
  • Generating proper Delivery Order for picking
  • Maintaining supporting documents for delivery, return & rejection
  • Conducting daily random checks on fast-moving items
  • Monitoring stock availability & deliverable condition
  • Maintaining fast & slow-moving stock lists
  • Preparing monthly reports for management
  • Ordering & receiving stocks from suppliers
  • Ensuring timely supplier returns with proper documentation
  • Communicating stock issue & supplier shortfalls to Group Procurement
5. Additional Responsibilities

Any other responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in logistics, supply chain management or related field (preferred)
  • Proven warehouse management experience, preferably in Food Manufacturing or FMCG
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management & warehouse systems (WMS)
  • Excellent organisational, leadership & problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in warehouse management software & Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift heavy objects & work in a physically demanding environment
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills for team management & cross‑department collaboration
