The Warehouse and Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations and logistics coordination. This role ensures efficient storage, inventory accuracy, timely distribution, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Position Summary

The Warehouse and Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations and logistics coordination. This role ensures efficient storage, inventory accuracy, timely distribution, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The position drives process improvements, cost optimization, and fosters a high-performance team environment to support business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution.
  • Implement and optimize warehouse procedures to maximize space utilization and streamline processes.
  • Develop and enforce inventory management policies and conduct regular stock assessments to maintain accuracy.
  • Coordinate transportation, shipping, and delivery activities for timely and cost-effective distribution.
  • Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment and address customer inquiries related to logistics and warehouse operations.
  • Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work environment across the warehouse and logistics team.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and leverage technology for automation.
  • Monitor and control operational expenses, including labour, transportation, and storage costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure stock accuracy, shipment integrity, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Drive environmentally responsible practices in warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Prepare and analyse KPIs to assess operational performance and generate regular management reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP SAP system, warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics-related software platforms.
  • Knowledge of local and international shipping regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional certifications such as APICS CSCP or Lean Six Sigma are an advantage.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance and safety.
