Warehouse General Worker (Simpang Ampat)

The Warehouse General Worker is responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, organizing and storing inventory, and picking and packing orders. They operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations. Additionally, they handle loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, communicate with other staff, and adhere to all safety and regulatory standards to manage the efficient flow of goods within the distribution center.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accept, inspect, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
• Identify and report damaged, lost, or missing merchandise.
• Store items in designated locations, counting, weighing, and labeling stock as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Assist with periodic inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Retrieve items from warehouse shelves to fulfill orders and carefully pack them for shipping.
• Prepare, wrap, and label packages according to shipping schedules.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move materials.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently.
• Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations; experience handling perishable goods is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is an advantage.
• Physically fit to handle manual tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
• Strong organizational, attention to detail, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, or public holidays if required.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, health regulations, and proper warehouse handling practices.
