Job summary

A leading retail chain in Klang City is seeking a Visual Merchandiser to enhance store presentation and manage visual merchandising standards. Responsibilities include updating visual displays, training staff, and collaborating with various departments. Qualifications

Job description

Implement and update visual presentation

Maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the overall store appearance and environment

Manage and execute creative product and merchandise presentation within the stores from a creative and commercial perspective in line with company's expectations and visual merchandising direction

Conduct, coach and implement VM training to in-store visual merchandisers and store staffs

Administer and oversee visual images and all VM inventories within stores

Supervise / execute installation with assigned / contracted supplier and vendors

Source and propose of props and visual merchandising display related to seasonal launch

Collaborate cohesively with different interfaces and departments from merchandising / branding / store planning and sales / operations

Involve and conceptualize new thematic theme for promotional event, new launches and other matters within the visual merchandising calendar

Requirement :

Diploma or Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Art / Design / Creative Multimedia, Advertising / Media, Textile / Fashion Design or equivalent

Specialize in Arts / Creative / Graphics Design or equivalent. Preferably with past role within Visual Merchandising / Fashion Styling or equivalent

Good communication, inter-personal skills and able to work as a team

At least two (2) years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. However, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for Visual Merchandiser or Instore Visual Merchandiser(s) position

Preferably candidates with a strong sense of fashion coordination and a good understanding of latest current fashion trends

Travel constantly within interstate Malaysia and designated regions to handle and oversee all aspects of visual merchandising
