Job summary

A leading equipment manufacturer in Malaysia is seeking applicants for a technical position involving vision evaluation and engineering documentation. Candidates should hold a Certificate or Diploma in Engineering or Science and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The role requires effective communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to work both independently and in teams. Familiarity with semiconductor processes is a plus. This role may involve overtime during peak workloads.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform vision evaluation, characterization, data collection and basic analysis of customer samples and requirements
• Perform proper engineering documentation including DCN, SOP, user manual and guideline
• Manage and keep all lab tools & equipment clean and tidy (5S)
• Setup/assembly vision module (industrial camera, industrial lens, industrial light source, industrial PC) for engineering study & evaluation
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned by the Company from time to time with on time full closure
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Superior based on priority
• Able to work overtime or extra time during heavy workload or peak periods to complete assigned tasks

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Certificate or Diploma in Engineering or Science in Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechatronics/ Optical/ Photonics with second upper class or above
• Good working relationship and positive work attitude, self-motivated with ability to work independently and in team environment
• Innovative, creativity and hardworking
• Strong technical analytical & problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Positive thinking and willing to provides extended support
• Enjoy learning new things and willing to accept new challenges
