TRAILER DRIVER & LORRY WORKSHOP ASSISTANT

We are seeking a Trailer Driver & Lorry Workshop Assistant to join our team at SAKTHY TRANSPORT SDN. BHD. in Chemor, Perak. This full‑time position is integral to the safe and efficient operation of our road transport fleet.

What you'll be doing

• Driving trailers and lorries on ad‑hoc basic to transport goods and materials safely and on time
• Assisting with the maintenance and repair of our vehicles in the workshop
• Washing prime mover and inside tankers
• Provide assistance to mechanics and technicians during repairs and maintenance of lorries
• Help with tasks such as dismantling and reassembling vehicle parts as directed
• Retrieve tools, parts, and equipment for mechanics to streamline the repair process
• Perform general housekeeping duties around the depot or warehouse
• Properly dispose of waste and adhere to environmental guidelines
• Assist with general maintenance of facilities and equipment

What we're looking for

• Valid commercial driving license with a good driving record
• Experience operating heavy goods vehicles and trailers
• Basic mechanical skills and willingness to learn more about vehicle maintenance
• Strong time management and organizational abilities
