Job description

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily traffic toolbox briefings and roll calls to ensure sufficient deployment of traffic personnel (Flagmen, TMT, ERT).
• Communicate project requirements clearly to subcontractors, vendors, supervisors, and site workers to ensure full understanding and alignment.
• Implement and monitor traffic management activities in accordance with client requirements, approved TMPs, and relevant standards.
• Perform regular site inspections and weekly compliance checks to ensure ongoing adherence to approved guidelines; maintain and submit proper records.
• Provide on-the-job training and safety guidance to site teams, including continuous review and improvement of existing procedures.
• Attend and conduct coordination or progress meetings with subcontractors and vendors, with proper documentation and reporting.
• Prepare and submit required documentation (e.g. Site Diary, Weekly Reports, Joint Measurement Sheets) within stipulated timelines for claims and records.
• Review work programmes and Traffic Management Plans prior to lane closures to ensure readiness and compliance.
• Ensure strict adherence to company SOPs and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Certified Traffic Management Officer (TMO) by CIDB.
• 3-5 years of experience in traffic management or highway maintenance roles.
